MVVMContext - An exception occurs after opening a popup form via its smart tag when ViewModel is located in another assembly

created 9 years ago (modified 9 years ago)

Dear DevExpress Support Team,
We are currently testing your MVVM Framework for WinForms. During this Tests we encountered an Error appearing when interacting with the MVVMContext Element in the Designer, if the assigned ViewModel is located in another Assembly then the one the View/Control is located in.
During execution there is no problem with this setup, only the error Message every time you interact with the smart-tag of the MVVMContext. (See attached project)
We want to know if this behaviour is intended or can we proceed to implement it this way?
With friendly regards,
Marius Klotke
