RibbonControl - A bar item's shortcut is not triggered after LookUpEdit's value is selected

created 9 years ago

Hi DevExpress Team

Please review the attached application. It contains a RibbonControl with a button and a lookUpEdit. When the button is pressed or invoked with its shortcut F5, a message box is displayed.
This works when you start the application.
It does not work, when you select a value in the lookUpEdit and then press F5 . The key press is lost.

Can you confirm this behaviour? What do you suggest as a Workaround?

Regards,
Matthias

    Hi,

We have successfully reproduced the behavior you described and passed this ticket to our developers' team for further research. Please bear with us. We will notify you as soon as we make any progress.

In the meantime, call the RibbonControl.Manager.CloseMenus method in the BarEditItem.HiddenEditor event handler.

      Thank you, Svetlana.
This works as expected. We will upgrade to the new version at a later time.
