I'm having a problem to create nested objects in a XAF ASP.NET.
Steps:
- In the attached project, you start by creating a Son object in the web interface.
- Then click on the search button for the Father object.
- Click the New button to create a new father.
- Click the search button for the Grandfather object.
- The interface now hangs. When we click cancel do try again, an exception is thrown.
How can I get rid of this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Pedro
Hello Pedro.
Thank you for your report. I have reproduced the issue. It looks like a bug. We will research it further and inform you when a solution is found.
Thank you. Please inform us also if there is a workaround before a bugfix is released.
We have found that the application hangs because of Visual Studio's Browser Link feature. You can disable it to solve the issue. Please refer to the following article for additional information: Visual Studio 2013 - Troubleshooting issues related to Browser Link feature.
We have not found the cause of the exception yet and will continue researching this issue. We will keep you informed of our progress.
I removed the Browser Link feature and the problem persisted. It follows the screen captures using psr.exe. I've tried also on Internet Explorer getting the same outcome.
Thank you for your response. I'm afraid the instruction you provided is obscure. It is unclear after what action the error in the popup window appears. Would you please provide a screencast?

Thank you for the additional information. We've reproduced the behavior and need additional time to research its cause.
Hello, Ilya. Is there any progress with this issue?
