ASPxTokenBox - It is impossible to select a token when it is completely typed in the lower case when AllowCustomTokens="false"

created 9 years ago (modified 9 years ago)

[DevExpress Support Team: CLONED FROM T293021: ASPxTokenBox allows entering custom tokens in lower case if AllowCustomTokens is false]
This fixed the issue but unfortunately it removed the ability to type in a value and then hit enter to select it. It doesn't select anything you have to click on it to select. See the enclosed video that demonstrates this:
Is there a way to remove typing at all in this case so I can remove the confusion until this is adjusted?

    Hello Shannon,
Thank you for pointing out the issue. I agree that the behavior is inconsistent now. ASPxTokenBox should allow selecting a corresponding token regardless of whether one word of a token is typed in or its whole text. I forwarded this ticket to our developers. You will be notified as soon as we have any results.

BTW do I see this already fixed in the hotfix below for 1.8?

        Hello Shannon,
You are right, the problem will be fixed in the next minor version, and now it's possible to request a hotfix.
