Memory leaks occur after exporting TreeList's content to an XLSX file

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Download and install our compiled demos.
  2. Open and compile C:\Users\Public\Documents\DevExpress VCL Demos\MegaDemos\Product Demos\ExpressQuantumTreeList\TreeListFeaturesDemo.dpr..
  3. Choose the Excel Style Filtering demo.
  4. Export the content to XLSX.
  5. Close the application.

Current results:

The following memory leak takes place:

21 - 28 bytes: UnicodeString x 1
29 - 36 bytes: UnicodeString x 1
45 - 52 bytes: TdxSpreadSheetFormatHandle x 3
69 - 76 bytes: UnicodeString x 1

We have addressed the issue described in this ticket and will include a fix in our next maintenance update. Should you need to apply our fix prior to official release, you can request a hotfix here.

Important Notes:

  • Hotfixes may be unavailable for Early Access/Beta builds or updates set for release within a week.
  • .NET only: in the NuGet Package Manager, use your personal NuGet feed and check the "Include prerelease" option to view the hotfix package in the "Updates" tab.
