We are using DevExpress 16.1.14 version and I am working on a WPF application that should reside in System Tray and generate notifications and open up when launched from System Tray.
Can we acheive this functionality through DevExpress?

To place a notification icon (system tray icon) in the Windows notification area and manage its behavior, I suggest that you try using our NotifyIconService. Please try this service and let me know your results.

Using the example provided at that link, the runtime menu gets the attention of my AVG virus scanner, which immediately sets out to quarantine the app as a bad actor. What gives?
