Dragging a column header to the column header panel's right or left edge doesn't scroll the panel's content

"VirtualModeDemoD14" shows 3 columns.

  1. Adjust the right border so that not all columns are visible.
  2. grab a visible column header (left-mouse-click) and move it to the right beyond the right border.

Result: the columns do not scroll to the right in build 17.2.2 and higher.

Expected result: In build 17.1.13 and lower the columns do scroll to the right.

This changed behavior is not documented in the change notes. So it is probably an error.

That holds for Delphi 2010 and Delphi Tokyo.

    We have fixed the issue described in this ticket and will include the fix in our next maintenance update. To apply this solution before the official update, request a hotfix by clicking the corresponding link for product versions you require.
