The "Invalid target element for this operation" exception is raised while showing the ASPxScheduler TimeLineView in Internet Explorer 9

created 7 years ago (modified 7 years ago)

Hello,
I have installed your demo project and open the solution ASPxSchedulerDemos.sln in Visual Studio. Please see the attachment, if I run the TimelineView.aspx in Internet Explorer 9, or in a newer Version with an user Agent for IE9, an exception will raise.
How can I work around this behavior, maybe is there a bugfix in 17.1.X ?
Thansk in advance for your work,
Guido

        Hello Guido,
Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with a temporary workaround for this issue using a public API. The issue occurs because of a specific HTML block is assigned with the "moreButtonLayer.innerHTML" property value.
It looks like in IE 9 the "innerHTML" property is read-only. We need additional time to investigate possible solutions to overcome this issue in IE 9.
Our developers are working on this issue and we will update the status of this ticket once we have any results.
