Designer not working

Hi, I am trying to use the designer to create a form.

The problem I have is that when I click on the design button in Visual studio it doesn't do anything

It just seems to be loading and then close tha page.

please could you help

    KA18588: Collecting a call stack to track down the cause of VS crash or freeze issues
    In addition, specify the version and edition of your Visual Studio and the version of our components used in your project.

    reinstalled Visual Studio and Devexpress
