encoding Postgre

As far as I know, the ASCII character set can represent only basic latin letters without accents. If your strings include characters that cannot be represented using this encoding, they cannot be shown and processed correctly. I recommend that you use a different encoding (UNICODE or UTF-8, for example). Refer to PostgreSQL Character Set Support

But, in the native connection for PIVOTGRID, works fine:
Server=localhost;Port=5432;Database=Demo;User Id=postgres;Password=11111
see attach… so, whats the solution for dashboard!

I can to use other provider (for example devart), for native connection (or custom string) in the dashboard?

PostgreSqlConnectionProvider operates through the standard Npgsql.dll ADO.NET connector library. We do not have built-in XPO providers that use Devart connector libraries.
Refer to the Database Systems Supported by XPO article.

devart works fine… npgsql not… (so, is a bug of npgsql??)

My client have created your database Postgre using SQL_ASCII.
So, no one type of encode working… look image attach…
already to try Unicode, UTF8, etc… nothing… no one works… any idea?

The information you provided is insufficient to diagnose this issue. Please provide us with a small sample project reproducing it and the database backup.

Only create any databank using SQL_ASCII and see you…

I have already mentioned previously that the ASCII character set  supports only Latin letters without accents. According to the screenshots you provided, you have characters in your strings that cannot be represented by the ASCII character set. So, using SQL_ASCII as encoding for your database is incorrect.

Thanks, but the conector DEVART works very well…  and dashboard use NPGSQL… only this not work…

Possibly the Devart connector uses some trick to work around an incorrectly specified encoding, and Npgsql doesn't use it. In any event, this issue cannot be solved at XPO level. I suggest that you use an appropriate encoding for your database, because ASCII doesn't fit.
