How to stick a column to a specific band in AdvBandedGridView

created 13 years ago

hi,

is there a way to make bandedgridcolumns stick to a specific band?
i have grids with lots of optional columns which i would like to group together so the
user can hide them if he wants to or does not need them.

when i drag a band beneath another (in order to safe screen space) the row is neither
reduced in width nor increased in height… in my opinion this is a useless way to work…

i think the attached image explains itself

the current implementation of the AdvBandedGridView does not seem to support
that kind of behaivor i desire…

thanks in advance

Thank you for contacting us. We have researched the current behavior and have not found a way to change it. The main limitation is that a column belongs to a band located above and is moved along with this band. That is why when you put the "Send Invoice To" band under "Send Delivery To" and move it away, the column that was under the "Send To Delivery To" band follows the "Send Invoice To" band, and the "Send To Delivery To" band becomes empty.
